Shady and 5th Outrage Hour

We meet every day from 5pm to 6pm on the corner of Shady Ave and 5th Ave in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It is difficult to change the minds of those who disagree with us but our goal is to bring people along with positivity. Participants should follow a few guidelines: 1. Signage on all issues is welcome but we prefer to see positive messages like “Welcome the Stranger,” instead of crude attacks on Trump and conservatives. 2. While responses from drivers are overwhelmingly positive, we find it best to simply ignore the occasional rude comment. There are some people who simply won't respond to logic. Bring peace, love, signs and friends. Location: Corner of Shady Ave and 5th Ave Shady Avenue & Fifth Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15232 There is no designated parking but there is free parking on Shady Ave. There are also two lots nearby: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uwUfASXMWMxmMM8Q8 https://maps.app.goo.gl/aPchAGaZzUgzdB5u8 *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
