How donations are used

  • Only running costs. Donations pay for the server, storage, backups and the domain. Nobody is paid a salary, and there are no rewards or perks.
  • Every month is published. The table on this page is updated each month with what came in and what went out.
  • Not tax-deductible. ProtestUSA isn't a registered charity yet, so gifts can't be deducted.
  • Not for bail or legal funds. Please give those directly to local bail funds and legal-aid groups.

Costs stay flat on purpose: uploads are capped per person per day, total storage has a ceiling, photos and videos are deleted after 60 days, and AI features have a prepaid budget that can't auto-renew.
