Join friends and neighbors on the sidewalks along W. Lakeshore Drive and Blakely Road, near Bayside Park. We'll be demonstrating our support for democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law. Bring a sign or an American flag, and invite a friend. Our presence gives hope and inspiration to those who agree with us but who have not yet resolved to take action. And everyone who attends draws fresh energy from one another and from the positive community response. All participants share the responsibility of keeping this event safe and peaceful. Please do not engage with those who disagree with us. Arguing gives them energy and is a waste of our time. Parking: there is a public parking lot at 2 W. Lakeshore Drive. Safety: This is a busy area, especially at rush hour. Please do not block the road or sidewalks, and please use the crosswalks. Follow the direction of the marshals in yellow and orange vests. This event is organized by Champlain Valley Indivisible. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
