We’ll share more practical guidance on who to contact if federal agents show up at your precinct, understanding your rights as an observer, and documenting activity effectively. WHAT’S YOUR PLAN? INFORMATION SESSION: Making a plan to vote can reduce anxiety and increase the likelihood of you casting a ballot. Make a plan to vote in advance. Are you going with friends or family? Do you have to take time off from work or just work it into a busy day? Are you voting by mail and are you making time to securely get your ballot to Voter Services or a local Ballot Box. Building, Meeting Room A, 1025 Paoli Pike, West Chester, Pa. 19380 A core principle behind all Indivisible Chester County events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. Join us for a 10-week series focused on preparing for challenges that could affect voting and vote counting in November. Each week we’ll walk through different scenarios, share practical ways to respond, and build the community knowledge and preparation needed to make sure every vote is counted as well as support candidates on the ballot. Whether it’s targeting mail-in voting, interfering with registration programs, blocking vote-counting, it’s going to be no-holds-barred from them this year as they try desperately to block the free and fair elections. But we’re going to cut through the noise, and we’re going to be ready for whatever they try.
