Disappeared In America Day of Action [BEVERLY MA]

Across the country, immigrant communities are under attack — targeted by raids, detention, and dehumanizing policies that tear families apart. These tactics are being weaponized as part of a broader authoritarian crackdown that threatens the rights and freedoms of everyone. Now is the time to come together, to stand shoulder to shoulder, and to say clearly: We will not stand by as families are disappeared, rights are dismantled, and democracy itself is eroded. The Disappeared in America Weekend of Action is a nationwide mobilization to defend our shared values of dignity, freedom, and justice for all. Together, we’ll shine a light on the human toll of detention and demand an end to corporate and government complicity in this cruelty. A core principle behind all Disappeared In America events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
