About

Details to Follow **We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.** Join us in Sanford on October 17 as the citizens of Lee County again take action to proclaim that We The People decide who represents us! We The People decide what comes next! Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17th, it's a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard. Remember: WHEN WE VOTE, WE WIN! We will rally in front of the Old Courthouse on Horner Blvd. displaying signs proclaiming the value of voting in Free & Fair elections and encouraging early voting & making plans to vote! There will also be a “Celebration of the Right to Vote” area with registration and voting information, information on volunteer opportunities, and assistance with making a plan to vote; as well as a fun area with activities for children. *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. DO NOT DISPLAY PARTISAN SIGNS FOR OR AGAINST ANY PARTY OR CANDIDATES! DO NOT MENTION THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION! *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
