Show up, connect, and build something together — little ones welcome! Join us — for our October Monthly Hang & Playdate in collaboration with the NYC DSA Tech Action Working Group and with a Special Guest from the AIM Coalition — for resource sharing, solidarity, and community building. This is a kid-friendly event. For the grown-ups: Teach-in Tech Tutorial! A lesson on how to help secure your privacy in today’s world. We’ll also touch on the “AI-ification” across every platform and how to disable or avoid it. And a special convo with our Special Guest from the AIM Coalition to talk about getting A.I. out of NYC Public Schools. All are welcome! No prior experience needed. For the kiddos: Storytime • Games • Playground Access For everyone: Community and Solidarity! Food pantry donations accepted — please bring any unexpired, shelf-stable items you'd like to contribute. This month we are also hosting a coat and winter clothing swap for kids and adults. Please makes sure all donations are clean and in wearable condition! Come get plugged in to all the ways we can show up for each other and all of our neighbors — in solidarity, not charity — and collectively build communities grounded in dignity and care. Questions?
