About

There is no more important place to stand on Oct. 17 to advocate for the right to vote and live in a democracy than Woodburn. Why? Woodburn has the highest per capita ICE detention rate in Oregon. We are Oregon's Ground Zero. Many days, before 8 AM, another Woodburn parent has been detained and taken away. On this No Kings Vote Early Day, stand with Woodburn in a show of support for our city's grieving families, and to make it clear to everyone, that despite all the intimidation and losses we've lived through lately, we are still going to vote, and we are still going to vote early. On this fourth No Kings Day, as we stand up for the right to vote and to live in a democracy, please come stand with the people of Woodburn. On October 17, it may be the most important place you could stand in the state of Oregon to fight for the right to vote and live in a democracy, where voters make the decisions, not dictators or their masked agents. Support our little city's effort to get out the vote despite all the adversity we currently are facing. Stand with Woodburn so everyone can see that we are unbowed, determined and not only ready to fill in our ballots, but we're ready to take our ballots to a ballot box early. Oregon ballots arrive soon after Oct. 23 and Woodburn, Oregon is ready to vote early no matter what other challenges are happening around us. Come help us share that message on Oct. 17 from 10 AM to 1 PM. #VoteReady and #NationalVoterRegistrationDay
