NO KINGS/VOTE EARLY-Boring Crossing Banner Event, Boring, OR

With the state of our democracy in the greatest of peril, the importance of early voting cannot be overstated. Join BLACKBERRY ALLIANCE, an Indivisible group serving rural communities throughout North Clackamas County, for one hour the morning of FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16th for a NO KINGS/VOTE EARLY Overpass Banner Event at BORING CROSSING/HWY 26. Help us get the word out on how best to protect the people’s vote! Join us as we say it loud and clear: VOTE EARLY – USE DROPBOX. More about our NO KINGS/VOTE EARLY event. Unlike previous No Kings actions, our NO KINGS/VOTE EARLY Overpass Banner event is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 16th, we'll encourage nonpartisan voter participation when we come together to remind community to make plans to vote early and to utilize the ballot drop box option. *Our NO KINGS/VOTE EARLY event is nonpartisan and designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.* *A core principle behind all Indivisible and No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
