About

We the people decide who represents us and what comes next! For more than a year, millions of us have rallied to reject the idea that power belongs to politicians and billionaires who believe they are above the people and the law. Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power! Please join Pleasant Hill Indivisible and Indivisible Resisters Contra Costa (indivisibleresisters.org) at Pleasant Hill City Hall for a rally, followed by a honk & wave on Contra Costa Blvd. Our event features music, motivating speeches, helpful tips on voting and obtaining information on races and ballot measures, plus plenty of camaraderie with enthusiastic voters! Together, we’ll wave signs to show our voting pride, and to demonstrate that everybody has the power to make a difference through their early vote. NO KINGS: VOTE EARLY isn’t just a protest. Instead October 17 is a day of voter participation: we are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote. *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
