About
Vote EARLY for No Kings! Join our Witness for Democracy Visibility Event to encourage early voting, October 17, 11:00-12:30; north side of Franconia-Springfield Parkway (289), east of intersection with Spring Village Dr. This is a "walk-to" event with no designated parking area. We are a group of seniors working to preserve our democracy and the rule of law. We are asking citizens to vote EARLY to prevent dictatorship, destruction of government and mass suffering. We ask our neighbors to join us at this "walk to" neighborhood event next to the Franconia-Springfield Parkway (289) on October 17 from 11:00-12:30. No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
