About
We the Alabamian people of Lake Martin, Dadeville, and surrounding area are proud to host a No Kings event on Saturday October 17, 12-2pm. Join us at the Tallapoosa County Courthouse, 125 N Broadnax Street, Dadeville AL 36853 Stand up for your right to participate in a free and fair election. Alabama does not allow early voting, so make an Election Day plan to vote. Then let’s work together to make a plan to make voting in Alabama easier and fairer. No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
