Come make posters with us for our October 17 "No Kings: Vote Early" events in the Waterville-area. "No Kings: Vote Early" is all about getting out the vote, and voting early is a great technique for protecting our voting rights and ensuring that our votes get counted. The signs we make at this gathering--signs which will be used in our three events on Oct. 17--will all share the theme of voting early, voting safely, voting as an act of democratic participation, and why we love democracy and are determined to defend it. "We Vote Early!" "Oakland Votes Early!" "Waterville Votes Early and Securely!" "If you Love Democracy, VOTE!" etc. Poster making supplies will be available, but you should feel welcome to bring your own. And if you are able to bring a snack to share, that would be great! A core principle behind all Indivisible, Indivisible Mid Maine, and No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolence and non-violent action. Our events will adhere to this principle, and our posters will, too.
