About
Hosted by Boulder Area Labor Council and Boulder Valley Education Association. This feature-length documentary includes interviews with organizers and community leaders involved in the resistance to ICE in the Twin Cities and firsthand footage of the resistance in the streets and the January 23 mass strike showing the enormous power of the working class. When ICE Melts examines how ordinary people organized across neighborhoods, workplaces, unions, and communities to resist repression and build collective power. It draws out the strategic lessons of those experiences, including the decisive nature of the January 23 mass strike in defeating ICE. Join us in community, food and beverages are provided. Donations to our local organizations fighting to protect and defend immigration rights are encouraged.
