About

Friday Democracy Rally — October 30! We're going to stand on the street corner and focus specifically on Voting Rights and Election Protection, with a simple, nonpartisan message: Your vote matters. We’ll be back at Lexington Pkwy & Front Ave on Friday, October 30, from 3:30–5:00pm. Our focus for this rally is the importance of voting, protecting access to the ballot, and supporting a fair and trustworthy election process. We want to keep the gathering as nonpartisan as possible and centered on voting and elections rather than other topics and concerns. Signs focused on voting and election participation are welcome. Examples include: Your Vote Matters Protect Voting Rights Every Vote Counts Protect Our Elections Vote! Your Voice Matters Honk for Voting Rights We’ll have extra signs available, along with our usual bubbles, cowbells, and maybe even a little chocolate. New faces are welcome. Look for organizers in pink vests when you arrive. Friday, October 30 3:30–5:00pm Lexington Pkwy & Front Ave Weather note: If weather looks questionable, we’ll make a go/no-go decision by 1:30pm and email everyone who has registered. Parking: Please don’t park in TopLine’s parking lot. There is neighborhood parking just east of Lexington. Sponsored by Comosapiens, a Hyperlocal Community Group *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
