About
Join Ozaukee Indivisible in Mequon from 10-11am. Gather at Northeast Corner of Mequon Rd/Cedarburg Rd (Park in City Hall lot). Between now and the 11/3 election, we are encouraging signs to primarily focus on getting out the early vote, stopping voter suppression and highlighting the struggles we are facing on a local level that have worsened under the leadership of Tom Tiffany & Glenn Grothman. We also encourage members amplifying the candidates that Ozaukee Indivisible is endorsing: David Crowley (Governor), Brad Smith (Congressional candidate) , & State Assembly candidates: Dana Glasstein, Deb Andraca & Jack Holzman Wear your shirts, button, & signs of support! Sign suggestions: Vote early 10/20 - 11/1, Every Vote Matters, Early Vote = Election Protection, Use Your Power - Vote Early, Hands Off Our Vote, Power to the Polls, Your Vote - Your Voice, [check mark] Registration: MyVote.WI.gov We always encourage bringing American flags as well! As always, we welcome donations of non-perishable food items/personal hygiene items for our local pantries as part of our ongoing “Feeding Hope, Not Hate” supply drive. We have collected over 3000lbs of food and supplies to date! We also welcome gently used or new children’s books for the Milwaukee Voter Project who take these out into the community for children to read (and then take home!) while their guardian is reregistering to vote. Be sure to check out our website and join our email list so you can stay up to date on all future protests and community events! https://ozaukeeindivisible.org/get-involved/ Ozaukee Indivisible is committed to nonviolent civic engagement. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at our events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
