No Kings: Vote Early Allston/Brighton, Boston, MA

### NO KINGS BOSTON: VOTE EARLY! Our vote is our power. Join the Allston/Brighton Grassroots Neighborhood Action Team (GNAT) while we celebrate the opening of early voting in our state and flex our community organizing muscles by ensuring eligible voters know it is time to early vote!  We will be meeting at Union Square (right across from Jackson Mann in front of the Firehouse) to get maximum visibility for both Brighton and Cambridge Ave and so that after the event we can walk to the polls (Jackson Mann) together! There will be some refreshments available to all, as well as sidewalk chalk, bubbles and (most importantly) voter information handouts!  Feel free to bring a non-partisan sign - No Kings has some available for print [here](https://brandfolder.com/indivisibleproject/nokings) - or just bring yourself and a willingness to celebrate and inform others about our voting rights! If you have questions please reach out to [email removed].   For past events, the No Kings Boston Coalition has asked us to mobilize on Boston Common for huge rallies. This time, we’re being asked to step up into local organizing! Our message is simple: *Your vote is your power. Make it count.* To align with the spirit of No Kings, please help us keep this event lawful, non-violent, and focused on the power of OUR vote. **We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next.** *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.* *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
