About

For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power in the United States belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law. Now, it is time for us to turn PEOPLE power into VOTER power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, seeks to remind and unite people around the principle of 1 voice=1 vote. October 17th is a day for nonpartisan voter participation and celebration of the rights of all eligible citizens to vote. As a community, we will make plans to ensure eligible voters understand how, when and where they can cast their ballot to ensure they have the opportunity to make their voices heard. Bring your costumes, your willingness to help others and your energy! We will have speakers on Voter Security and Safety; Trainings on doorknocking, phone banking visibility events and how you can help Get Out The Vote! Join us in going out into the community on the 17th, or on another day, to bring the message: Vote Early. Vote. On October 17th, join us as we say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. *No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.* *A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
