About
📢 VOTE EARLY RALLY: TURNING PEOPLE POWER INTO VOTER POWER 📢 We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next. 🗳️✊ For over a year, millions across the country have stood together to reject the idea that power belongs to monarchs, billionaires, or politicians who act above the people and the law. Now, the Christian County Concerned Citizens (C4) are taking the next step alongside the nationwide movement. No Kings: Vote Early is more than just a rally—it’s a nonpartisan day of community action to help every neighbor make a plan to vote, understand their options, and ensure our collective voice is heard! 🇺🇸✨ Whether you’re a regular at our rallies or joining us for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to stand up for democratic accountability. 🤝💙 Event Details 🗓️ When: Saturday, October 17th ⏰ Time: [Insert Time, e.g., 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM] 📍 Where: Veterans Memorial on Park Street, Taylorville, IL [or Insert Specific Location] 💛 Attire: Wear YELLOW to stand in solidarity with the national No Kings movement! 👥 Bring: A friend, your questions about casting your ballot, and your voice! What to Expect 🪧 Signs Provided: Don't worry about bringing anything—we have extra signs available, or bring your own homemade sign celebrating democracy and voter participation! 🎨 🗳️ Make Your Voting Plan: We’ll share resources on how to verify registration status, request mail ballots, or locate early voting options through official election channels. 🕊️ Peaceful & Nonpartisan: This event is nonpartisan and designed to increase participation across our entire community. All participants commit to nonviolent action and de-escalation. Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited. No one gets to decide our leaders before the voters do. Come stand with C4, get ready to vote early, and say it loud: No thrones, no crowns, no kings! 📣🔥 “No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.”
