Reasons to Vote with Champlain Valley Indivisible on Pine St., Burlington

Join friends and neighbors at our demonstration on Pine Street in Burlington. Our theme for the event is "Reasons to Vote". We'll meet on Pine street in front of Dealer.com where we will provide unique preprinted black and white signs on this theme. Participants will stand side-by-side along Pine Street and are asked to wear dark clothing, preferably black, to create a visual impact. Volunteer safety marshals wearing orange or yellow vests will be present in support of the safety of our group and those traveling along the sidewalk. Event attendees will be asked to keep the sidewalk clear for pedestrians, and that the cross-walks are used if crossing Pine Street is necessary. *** A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
