No Kings Day - Get out the Vote and This is Facsism Rally

Friends and neighbors, It is time to make our voices heard. Join us on Saturday, October 17, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for the "No Kings Day, Get Out the Vote" and "This is Fascism" Rally in downtown Tehachapi. We are hitting the streets to mobilize our community, stand up for our rights, and ensure every vote is cast and counted. We will be gathering at Train Depot Park (Tehachapi Blvd & Green Street) before taking over the park and all four corners of the intersection. Here is the plan for the day: The Gathering: Meet at Train Depot Park at noon. We will be filling the intersection of Tehachapi Blvd & Green Street to make sure our message is seen by the whole town. Sign Squad: If you want to participate in the "This is Fascism" Sign Squad, you will be provided with a sign to borrow for the rally! Please join us on the front lines as we take over the park and the intersection. DIY Signs: If you would like to make your own sign, we are asking for encouraging messages such as "Get out to Vote", "Voting Matters", "Exercise your Voice, Vote!", etc. The March: Bring your completed mail-in ballots! We will be overflowing down Green Street and marching together to the official Ballot Drop-Off Box located at the Tehachapi Branch Library. This is our moment to show up, speak out, and get out the vote. Bring your friends, your family, your signs, and your ballots. When: Saturday, October 17 | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Where: Train Depot Park (Tehachapi Blvd & Green Street) March Destination: Tehachapi Branch Library (Green Street) See you on the streets!
