Hwy 371 Cleanup

Corner Store, Backus, Minnesota
About
Help clean up a two-mile stretch of Highway 371 just south of Backus. It's part of meeting the Cass County DFL's Adopt-A-Highway commitment. Enjoy working with each other and get some good exercise, too. Volunteers typically work and walk a one-mile stretch, but might be expected to walk farther to get to and from their stretch. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants, heavy duty gloves, and outerwear suitable to the weather. Trash bags, high visibility safety vest, and trash grabbers will be provided. Meet at the Corner Store on Hwy 371 in Backus at 1:00 on October 18. Sign up in advance to make sure you get any last-minute updates. P.S. There is no Viking game that day. Paid for by Cass County DFL, P.O. Box 276, Hackensack, MN 56452.
