On October 20th, thousands of people across the country will walk out to demand a freeze on AI development. With AI threatening our jobs, our safety, and our democracy, now is the time for a **people’s movement** to ensure all of us – not just a handful of Silicon Valley billionaires – have the say we deserve in our future. **Join us on October 20 at 1pm at the MA State House for the Freeze AI Walkout!** We’ll gather with fellow students, professors, workers, community members, and allies, with speakers sharing their testimony about how unregulated AI has impacted our lives, jobs, communities, and futures – and we’ll call for an immediate freeze on AI development. Because we the people deserve a **say, a stake, and basic safety** in the future of this dangerous, powerful technology. Dozens of cities across the country will be walking out at the same time with us, to make sure Congress feels the pressure leading up election day! Now is the time to take action! Bring your signs and your friends!
