Lunch, Civic Action & Protecting the Vote: UNG Student Info Session
Thursday, October 15, 2026, 12:30 PM EDT
UNG Gainesville Campus - Student Center, Oakwood, Georgia
About
Open to all UNG students, this student-focused event will take place on the UNG Gainesville Campus. Join Common Cause to learn about our work, participate in values-driven conversations, and make a practical voting plan for the upcoming election. We’ll also share ways to get involved as a poll monitor, helping voters access accurate information and support a smooth voting experience. Lunch will be provided for students who stay and participate in the event. Eligible poll monitor volunteers will receive thank-you gift cards and we also offer a stipend program for individuals interested in volunteering multiple days, with opportunities to earn more than the gift card amount. More information about eligibility, available shifts, and stipends will be provided during the session. Come learn more, ask questions, enjoy lunch, and find an opportunity that fits your schedule.
