About
Saturday, October 17th (Early Voting Day) from 1-3pm on the Charlton Town Common. Everyone is Welcome! Something different is happening in Charlton on October 17. And you don’t have to be a Democrat, Republican or Independent to belong. October 17 is the first day of early voting in Massachusetts, and this year we’re trying something different. CHARLTON VOTES: Your Voice. Your Choice. This isn’t about asking our neighbors to vote the same way. It’s about something much simpler: You don’t have to vote like me to stand beside me. We want Republicans, Democrats, Independents, unenrolled voters and people who are simply tired of Americans treating one another like enemies. Come with your American flag. Come with a sign telling us why YOU vote. Come with a neighbor who votes differently than you do. We’ll have information about early voting, voter registration and the November election. No candidate endorsements. No political party endorsements. Just neighbors exercising one of the most important rights we have. Saturday, October 17 1-3pm Charlton, Massachusetts Country over party. Neighbors over politics. People over power. This local event is being held as part of No Kings: Vote Early. No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
