About

NO KINGS: EARLY VOTING IS OUR SUPERPOWER! This No Kings action is going to look a little different and be a LOT of fun. On October 17, we're adopting four Early Voting locations across Nashville and turning them into celebrations of early voting. Instead of one big march or rally, we'll be out where the voters are lining sidewalks, waving signs at passing traffic, wearing costumes and creating the kind of positive energy that makes someone driving by think: “Hey, Early Voting is open. Let's whip in and VOTE!” Voting early gives people more days and more opportunities to cast their ballot. It gives us time to deal with the unexpected things that can get in the way on Election Day. And when we vote early, we're free to spend Election Day helping others like: giving rides, serving as poll observers, sharing accurate information and helping our neighbors vote. 🗽 NOW FOR THE FUN PART: COME IN COSTUME! Superheroes. Suffragists. Lady Liberty. Uncle Sam. Ballot boxes. Inflatable dinosaurs. Your own completely ridiculous Democracy Superhero. Capes encouraged. Creativity encouraged. Fun absolutely encouraged. Our goal isn't to intimidate voters or tell anyone how to vote. No Kings: Vote Early is nonpartisan. We're there to make voting feel welcoming, safe and worth celebrating and to encourage every eligible voter to participate. Bring a sign. Bring a friend. Bring your best costume. Bring folding chair. 🦸 SUIT UP. SHOW UP. VOTE EARLY. 🗳️ No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
