Our #1 job to save our democracy and protect our elections this fall is to encourage our neighbors to VOTE - and ideally to VOTE EARLY! Join IHB's Early Vote Honk and Waves to help spread the word. A huge voter turnout, especially a large number of early votes, can return the power to the people and avoid the impact of potential election interference. Join us as we hold signs and wave to passersby near the Riverfront with encouragement and info to vote early. [Early voting in DE begins on Oct 22.] Specific Location Info for the Riverfront (near the Delaware Contemporary): 1. Friday, 10/23, 4-5 pm at the intersection of Madison St., Maryland St, and MLK Blvd. [Park on Madison St. or nearby around the corner on West. St.] 2. Tuesday/10/27, 4-5 pm at the intersection of Rosa Parks Dr. and Market St. Park on Rosa Parks or in the Train Station garage. Bring a sign*, and stay as long as you are able. *Make sure your signs encourage Early Voting AND include specific info about your nearby Early Voting site (location, days, times).
