About
Doors open at 5:30PM. Program starts promptly at 6:30pm. Please account for busy South Florida traffic and parking. We encourage carpooling! Join Angie Nixon and Joy Reid in Broward County as we come together to rally for a stronger, more equitable Florida—and learn about the Amendments on the ballot, hear directly from the candidate, and meet a powerhouse lineup of special guests. Angie Nixon has always been a fearless advocate for working families and real community investment, and this is your chance to feel that energy up close, in a room full of people ready to build something better. Joy Reid is a New York Times bestselling author and Emmy nominated, two time NAACP Image Award winning journalist who in 2020 became the first Black woman to host a primetime cable news show at the network formerly known as MSNBC. She is currently a partner at the production company Image Lab Media Group and the host of The Joy Reid Show streaming podcast, available on YouTube at thejoyreidshow.com, on Substack at joyannreid.com and on audio podcast platforms If you can't make it in person, we are live-streaming on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP5g8mUnShs
