**Join us on October 20 at 9am, at the Union Oval (directly behind the student union) on BGSU campus to kick off our walkout!** We’ll gather with students, staff, and community members to take a stand against the impacts of the nearby Meta data center and the use of unregulated AI in our lives, jobs, communities, and futures – and we’ll call for an immediate freeze on AI development. We deserve a say, a stake, and basic safety, and we need to determine the future of this dangerous, powerful technology – not leave it to a handful of Big Tech CEOs. **Bring your signs and your friends!**
