HERC has run in North Minneapolis for 37 years on a legacy permit. Most of what it emits is tested only once a year or never. Join us as we kick off the Global Week of Action to Stop Incineration (October 13-16). We're demanding Hennepin County: - Vote this year to close the trash burner by the end of 2027 - Install continuous, real-time, public-facing monitoring equipment - Lower emission limits to the standards set for new incinerators The people have a right to know what this burner is putting in their bodies. Join the global movement for a future beyond burners!
