GOTV: Postcards, Protest & Pizza
Saturday, October 17, 2026, 12:00 PM CDT
Owatonna, Minnesota
About
Join us to write postcards to voters at the Owatonna Public Library from 9:30-11:30am. Then at NOON meet your Steele County Indivisible Friends on the sidewalks in front of 515 W. Bridge St. to stand up for our democracy! Bring your flags and signs promoting voting, democracy, human rights, justice, etc. We request that signs DO NOT promote particular candidates or parties. At 1pm we'll have free pizza and lemonade for a "tailgate" party This gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow community members, enjoy some refreshments, and engage in meaningful conversations to share our ideas about how we can make a positive impact in Steele County and Southern Minnesota. After pizza we'll take our newest signs "We the People - VOTE EARLY" out to the I-35 overpasses in Owatonna and Medford for a Visibility Bridge Brigade to promote voting. Don't miss out on this chance to build stronger community ties—RSVP asap so we can plan accordingly. Looking forward to seeing you there! Prepared and paid for by Steele County DFL, email: [email removed] or Steele County DFL on Facebook
