Grassroots Democracy in Action Tuesday, October 20 | 5:00–6:30 PM Lynchburg, VA | Miller Park: 2100 Park Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501 ABC13 (WSET) and the University of Lynchburg invited congressional candidates Tom Perriello and John McGuire to participate in a debate this October. Perriello accepted the invitation; McGuire declined. The debate may be off, but the people still deserve to be heard! From rising grocery and gas prices to threats to healthcare and food assistance, the future of rural hospitals, data center development, environmental concerns, and government corruption and accountability, people across Virginia's Fifth District have plenty on their minds—and plenty to say. Join neighbors from across the Fifth District for a lively, grassroots Rally for the People! Come together, bring attention to the issues affecting our communities, and make your voice heard. Bring your friends. Bring your signs. Bring your energy! YOUR VOICE MATTERS. YOUR VOTE MATTERS. All are welcome.
