Rally for Early Votes at the Largest Farmers Market

Let’s promote early voting to this huge farmers market audience as they come and go. Crowds get bigger and hours are longer as weather is better in late October. This Central Avenue location is in the heart of a mixed use community. So lots of folks will be walking and driving by our messages on this Saturday morning. Bring your most persuasive, positive signs that are nonpartisan and express your values and point of view. “Vote Early” makes a great sign too! (Bring a chair if you’d like.) We’ll be on the northeast corner of Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road, across from this farmers market. *A core principle behind all Desert Democracy events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
