About
Join Indivisible Lake Norman, Indivisible CLT, Grace & Grit of Steele Creek, and Common Defense for a special No Kings/Vote Early Stroll to the Polls! We will rally at the corner from 10:00-10:30, and then walk one mile to the Steele Creek Masonic Lodge to vote. This is a progressive march, so we'll stop along the way for anyone who wants to join at S Tryon & Steele Creek and the Steele Creek Public Library. We will have extra signs! **Signs should all be non-partisan** and have messages like Vote Early, Your Vote is your power, etc. Good Reminders: Indivisible CLT is committed to peaceful, non-violent protesting. We do not engage with those that have opposing views, and we work to de-escalate as situations arise. Please review the guidelines: https://tinyurl.com/ICLTProtestGuide Remember to “SWARM”! - Signage – Positive & appropriate that does not include profanity, incite violence or include hate symbols like swastikas - Water – Stay hydrated and bring a water bottle - American Flag – Be sure to bring one! - Reminder to park in appropriate locations - Music – Have music on hand for a fun vibe!
