About
The Tropical Meme Society (TMS) is a Visibility collective that does large scale messaging from LA’s freeway overpasses in support of democracy. TMS is a non-violent, informal volunteer group in which we all participate with an understanding that our own actions are our personal responsibility and we accept our own personal liability. We will bring the large letters for our signs and you bring your energy, comfortable clothing and shoes, and any small signs you may be feeling (PG13 messaging, please!). We will have flags, chalk and other fun things. Keep in mind we will be standing for about two hours. We need you - the more people the people passing by see on the bridge, the more social proof we provide for the message we’re sending! ## HOW TO PREPARE Please bring ID, water (or other hydration) and a hat / sun protection. If it rains we will assess whether or not to reschedule. Keep in mind we will be standing for about two hours. Specific address will be provided for each event individually, zip code provided in this RSVP is generic. THE LOCATION WILL BE GIVEN UNDER THE "HOW TO JOIN THIS EVENT" section of the confirmation email.
