ALERT - START TIME 10 AM DUE TO HEAT Join us for Peaceful Protest The dismantling of the Voting Rights Act is huge reminder that we have unfinished business. O'Hare is trying to suppress our votes. John Lewis would be organizing and so are WE. Now more than ever we need to show up with friends to spread the message I.C.E is out of control. Murder is a crime. Join us in Peaceful but loud protest to demand we stand up and fight back on the full on assault against Black and Brown voters!! Restore Immigration Reform and Reign in I.C.E. and pass the John Lewis Voting rights Act. The No Kings coalition and people across the nation take to the street to make clear that our communities will not be pushed backward, our voices will not be silenced, and our power will not be denied. Join this Pro-Family, anti-racist, pro-Black movement at our Southlake Saturday protest. Join us on the sidewalk southeast of Southlake Boulevard and S Carroll Street from 10-11. It’s time to stand for each other and our country. PARK around Central Park or the west side by Carroll on the Southeast side of Southlake Blvd. Bring your signs, your flags, and your energy! Plus we will have No Kings signs and our Signs of Fascism available. Guidelines are: No profanity, written or spoken please. Stay on the public sidewalk. This is a peaceful event. Practice de-escalation! Do not engage! The only hand signals allowed are peace signs and friendly waves. This is the No Kings Era. Use your voice against authoritarian rule, murder, illegal wars and take a stand for each other and our democracy! A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. Do not engage! Do not take the bait!
