Line Colorado Blvd! - Solidarity Saturdays @ 8th Ave

Meet at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Colorado Blvd with your signs and energy! Park in the neighborhood and simply show up between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. Join whomever is there. Our plan is to host this event consistently every 2nd and 4th Saturdays for the foreseeable future. This gathering is part of an effort to LINE Colorado Blvd with people standing against an authoritarian regime. We want to be visible to a variety of drivers. Imagine if people see protesters at intersections all the way from I-70 to Hampden Avenue! This is a goal of ours for the next No Kings Day. Therefore, we are looking to expand and need block captains at other intersections! If you are interested, please click "Email Host" once you sign up, and we'll share details. It's very easy! *** This is a local, grassroots effort organized by people connected to Indivisible, No Kings, and 50501. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
