About

Join Us on the Overpass for our monthly First Saturday Banners Over I-5 event. Our theme this month will be "Make Corruption Illegal Again"
This is a safe, shared community space where flags, hand held signs, music, costumes, and noisemakers are all welcome and encouraged. Signage: We have a large banner designed to be visible from the freeway. Per the City's request, please do not attach anything directly to the "Birdie Barrier." Instead, we encourage using large individual letters held aloft by groups to spell out captions or individual hand held signs. Signs can also be turned to catch the attention of cars traveling along Pioneer Street. Need a Sign? Don't worry if you haven't had time to make one; extra signs will be available on-site. Location & Parking
: Find parking at the Park and Ride just east of the overpass—it's a short walk up. Park where you feel comfortable, then use the crosswalk to come up to the North side of the overpass, where we will be gathering. This is a legal, peaceful rally on public property. Please visit the Indivisible Greater Vancouver website to find more ways to stay engaged:https://www.indivisiblegreatervancouver.org/

Public. Don't post anything you wouldn't want police, employers or counter-protesters to read. Move sensitive planning to Signal.
