The event will take place in the Al Copeland Meadow Park area and walk the 2-mile track around the park. Resources and education will be available through Responsibility House, Behavioral Health Group, Oxford House, Hope Center, Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, Avenues, NAMI, Louisiana Department of Public Health, Odyssey House of Louisiana, and Compassionate Friends. Louisiana Purchase will be on site in the food pavilion providing fresh seasonal fruit, finger sandwiches, cold water, lemonade, gatorade, and selling snowballs. http://go.walkforlives.org/LA-Metairie-Shirts
