About

On Saturday, June 6th, D-Day, Democracy Day, we land again! 81 years ago, thousands gave everything on the beaches of Normandy to stop fascism. Over 2500 died, an estimated 6000 died, were injured or were missing by the end of their courageous effort. On June 6th, 2026, Indivisible Worcester, as part of the Visibility Brigade, launches that same spirit of resistance on overpasses across our nation against the American fascist billionaires. Peacefully, visibly, and powerfully. Sign up now! Why We Are Focusing On Billionaires? The root of every major issue that is affecting our nation at present can be attributed to the unbridled greed of billionaires and it is essential that this is made loud and clear for everyone. Once this clarity is reached, the solution is quite simple: these individuals need to be taxed at levels that our country hasn't enacted since the 1950's. The Stakes Too many people are unaware of what's happening in our country and if we don't get a huge turnout for the midterms, we won't be able to recover. We have one shot to fix this to avoid dictatorship. Visibility Brigade is in a unique position to bring awareness to a large percentage of our population. But to do so we are going to need your help. Are you in? Our Goal To alert and unite everyone against our greatest threat: the fascist billionaires and their enablers embedded in our system, who are stripping away our freedoms and dragging us towards tyranny. Our spelled out message on the overpass will be SERVICE + SACRIFICE = LAND OF THE FREE 'CUZ OF THE BRAVE That means we need 88 letter holders to share our message of gratitude for those who have defended our democracy in the military. When I think of the men jumping off those landing crafts into the cold waters, heading toward the beach, knowing there was a big chance they would be killed, I tear up at their courage! Those men were not the sons of the rich. They were the sons of middle and low income families who loved their country. Come hold a letter to remind people of what it takes to defend democracy! Show your courage and stand up for democracy with us! If you are willing to hold a letter, please email me. with the message I WILL HOLD A LETTER in the subject line of your email. We will schedule letter-making parties in my basement when the day gets closer. Thanks for all you do to preserve our democracy! In Solidarity, Mary
