I-95 Overpass at Larchmont Train Station, Mamaroneck, New York
About
On Saturday, June 6th, D-Day (Democracy Day) is coming and we want you to join us on our overpass at 11:00 AM to honor those who fought fascism on the beaches of Normandy by bringing that same spirit of resistance peacefully home! Our Messaging: Pro-democracy. Anti-fascist. Rooted in history, urgent in the present. We will supply a large message for passing cars to see that you can stand over and wave. You are welcome to bring your own smaller signs, play music, wear inflatables or costumes. Note that we discourage handheld signs facing the highway as these are.too small to read safely from the road below. If you are a veteran, we would be especially honored if you could join us! Democracy Day is built on joy, creativity, and community. To learn more about the Visibility Brigade movement, please visit www.VisibilityBrigade.com! Once you sign up, we will share more information as we get closer to this event!
