About
Bring your friends and your signs and your American flags. Share this flyer on social media and in email. Consider wearing the traditional red poppy as a sign of respect for fallen soldiers. Peace: The war in Iran is illegal, pointless, appallingly expensive in blood and treasure, and is further destroying our relationships with our allies. We call for it to end immediately. Democracy: Because it has become clear that on a level playing field, MAGA policies and politicians were set to lose everywhere in November, the Supreme Court gutted what was left of the Voting Rights Act, to free red states to again implement Jim Crow. The intention: make it harder for minorities and poor people to vote, and for their votes to count. The progressive strategic answer to this is TURNOUT. We must get everyone to the polls, in the primaries and in the midterms. Once we achieve a progressive majority, we can push our legislators to massively reform SCOTUS and to rebuild and improve our battered institutions. Affordability: The war in Iran and the tariffs have one aim: to further enrich Trump’s billionaire cronies, at the expense of the cost of living for the rest of us. Who voted for $5 gas?
