About
David Flippo wants to represent Northern Nevada in Congress. There's just one problem: he barely lives here. Flippo moved to the district this election cycle after losing a race elsewhere in 2024. Even his own party isn't sold on him. Gov. Lombardo and outgoing Rep. Mark Amodei both backed a different Republican, James Settelmeyer, in the primary. Amodei has said he won't endorse Flippo in November, either. And when it comes to basic transparency? Flippo still hasn't filed the personal financial disclosure federal candidates are required to submit. Northern Nevada deserves a representative who actually lives here, answers to voters (not just Mar-a-Lago), and is willing to show the public his finances. Join us Saturday to say so. Sign up for some great new sign slogans that you can use! 🦺 PLEASE NOTE: Our rallies are nonviolent. When there are one or more aggressive counter protesters at our events, the best way to respond is to ignore and de-escalate. De-escalation includes staying calm, maintaining your distance, using a calm voice, and having a neutral stance. If you are concerned about your or someone else's safety, please go tell a security team member in a yellow vest. Remember, counter protestors are exercising their first amendment rights just as we are-- but we also don't want a situation to escalate or to lead to any violent behaviors. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
