About
Join us for our first Mike Monday as we hold Congressman Mike Lawler accountable for voting for massive cuts to SNAP that will hurt working families, seniors, and children across New York. While families are struggling with rising costs of groceries and everyday expenses, Mike Lawler sided with radical, extreme politicians voting for a 20% cut to Federal SNAP spending through 2034. Cutting SNAP strips NY-17 residents of critical food assistance programs that millions of Americans rely on. These cuts will make it harder for people to put food on the table and will deepen the challenges facing our communities. Every other Monday, we’ll take action to make sure Mike Lawler hears from the people he was elected to represent. Together, we can demand that our elected officials protect working families and prioritize people over politics. Join us and help hold Mike Lawler accountable for his votes to hurt working class people.
