Birchard Public Library of Sandusky County, Fremont, Ohio
About
Join us for a sign making event in support of the Jesus Was An Immigrant vigil. We will meet in the Birchard Public Library in meeting room C - room 132. From 1:00-2:30. Materials will be provided but you are free to bring your own as well. Plan on this being a fun event. Some suggested signs are as follows. • “Jesus was an immigrant” • “The Good Samaritan was a foreigner” • “Ruth was a foreigner” • “Immigrants are created in the image of God” Remember, the vigil is not a protest. We are planning for a dignified and respectful event that encourages reflection. Please register so I know how many people to expect.
