Park-&-Ride, Herndon, Virginia
About
Defend Democracy Indivisible (Fairfax VA) is hosting a rally against fascism and for Democracy. June 6th D Day is Democracy Day across the United States. The Visibility Brigade and associated Indivisible groups are marking the 81 years since the original D-Day, the storming of the beaches in Normandy to defeat fascism! D-Day is Democracy Day, when we stand up against the billionaires who are bringing down the great 250 year-old American Experiment, with their unbridled greed and bottomless supply of Dark Money to candidates and causes that have no connection to the values that made our nation great! Join Defend Democracy Indivisible to rally for democracy, against fascism, and against klepto-billionaires and other corrupters destroying this country. Bring a flag, or a sign, or come and help us hold our Signs of Fascism Signs. There is room for chairs; parking is easy at the South Reston Park & Ride behind where we will stand. Information on National action can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/192Az5n4h71MIN74oTZMhZnzpU0KwXoxg/view *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
