About
"Trump Did This" Protest Gas at $5.78 a gallon! ⛽️ Beef up by about 17% over the past year. 🥩 Air fare up 20%. ✈️ Coffee has climbed 19% ☕️ Tomatoes have increased nearly 40% 🍅 And we’re in a war 😳. On Flag Day (and you know who’s birthday 🤢) gather in Covington to protest what this administration has done to us. Bring a sign sharing your biggest concern or a flag to show we believe in democracy and our constitution. Watch for our teams who will be sharing flags and “I did that” stickers. Gather along 272nd (Kent-Kangley / Hwy 516) in Covington. Park in either the outer edges of the Fred Meyer lot, or Safeway or Kohls. Please save parking near the sidewalk for those who need more accessible parking. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Do not tune into that birthday celebration; stand up with your neighbors and make your voice be heard. ✊
