Pasadena/Altadena Stand Together: Human Chain for Dignity
Saturday, June 13, 2026, 9:00 AM PDT
Woodbury Road (from Lincoln Ave to Lake Ave), Altadena, California
About
Join neighbors, friends, workers, and families as we link hands in a peaceful show of support for workers currently helping rebuild Altadena after the devastation of the wildfires. ### Overview: **June 13 is the first anniversary of the immigration raids in Altadena, Pasadena and across Los Angeles area.** ICE agents ripped people from their families and homes. They tried to tear our community apart with unconstitutional racial profiling, cruelty and violence. Many family members are still missing. Many hearts are still broken. **But while they tried to split and divide us, they failed.** We came together and held one another closer. *We held strong.* **On June 13 we will come together again,** to condemn the raids that did so much damage, to honor the ones we love so much, and to show our strength and determination. **We will make a human chain stretching across Pasadena and Altadena.** We'll stand together and hold hands along the sidewalks and streets **from Lincoln Avenue to Lake Avenue,** a distance of about 1 mile. We will engage in a provocative action rooted in love and nonviolence, to resist the Trump Administration's unlawful attacks on our community. **We will turn ourselves into a symbolic barrier, a wall that says: ICE Out. Hands Off Dena.** We will also turn ourselves into a chain of solidarity and connection, showing that together we are stronger than hate. We are unbreakable. ### Logistics **Participants will be assigned to link hands across the 1-mile span and will be assigned to stations below.** Each station will have a coordinator. The event organizers will send further instructions once you register. 1. Lake & Woodbury 2. Santa Rosa & Woodbury 3. Marengo & Woodbury 4. Fair Oaks & Woodbury 5. Glenrose & Woodbury 6.
