Flag Day Protest at Week's Crossing (Dover, NH)
Sunday, June 14, 2026, 3:00 PM EDT
Week's Crossing intersection, Dover, New Hampshire
About
Join us for an afternoon of protesting President Donald Trump and his corrupt administration, enjoying community and singing patriotic songs in honor of Flag Day (also, Trump’s birthday). We’re gathering at Week’s Crossing, near 238 Indian Brook Road in Dover, from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants are encouraged to help us fill all four corners of the intersection. Information and medical assistance will be found under the tent, near the corner closest to Tucker’s restaurant. Tabling and candidate campaigning will also be welcomed in this area. Things to keep in mind: • This event is open to all people, regardless of political affiliation or where you live. If you’re a fan of human rights, think workers should get paid a livable wage, don’t condone ego-driven wars, value unions, believe women, support LGBTQ+, want immigration and healthcare reform, see the corruption, follow the money and want better for our country, you’re invited! • Local businesses have no affiliation with this event, so please be respectful of their parking areas and patrons. Bathrooms are not available, so please plan accordingly. • This event is rain or shine. • Wave a flag, rock a costume and/or bring a sign. Bring extras to share – we typically have some at our info table near Tucker’s. • You’ll see yard signs for sale during the event. The suggested donation is $20 per sign. All proceeds will help LOCAL democratic candidates get elected this November. • Safety is our priority and peace is our expectation. As always, we’ve shared our plans with both the Dover and Somersworth police departments, and they’ll be patrolling to keep us safe. While we can stand on any of the four corners at Week’s Crossing, we must keep sidewalks clear for pedestrians. No one should enter the medians in the roadway unless they are actively crossing the street. • Some protesters bring children with them – and it’s been great! Please ensure that kids always stay with an adult, as crowds will be big and we’re in a heavily trafficked area. • If counter protesters arrive, do not engage. We’re going to outnumber them, so don’t let them ruin our day.
