Gov. Sherrill--WE WANT ANSWERS!!

WE ARE HEADING TO MIKIE SHERRILL'S OFFICE -- to demand that she answer for the mess that she has made. And to tell her to: --Meet with the people who are detained at Delaney Hall! --Demand the release of the youth, the elderly, and those who are sick! --Stop inciting violence by siccing the State Police on peaceful protestors! --Stop spreading MAGA propaganda and start helping our detainee friends! Governor Sherrill's response has caused serious harm inside and outside of Delaney Hall. Peaceful protestors and journalists have been arrested, injured, and had their constitutional rights violated, all while GeoGroup Guards and ICE continue to retaliate against strikers. Governor Sherrill has the power to stop this. Meet at the Governor’s office at 2 p.m. to express our demands and get ready to rally. Bring signs highlighting the detainee’s demands – truth matters – Immigrants matter – the law matters Try to carpool if possible! For Camden County folks: If you want to carpool, meet in the Shoprite parking lot in Cherry Hill off Rte. 70 at 12:45 pm (between Shoprite and the old Joanne's) LOGISTICS UPDATE: Rally time and location: Meet at 2:00pm on the SIDEWALK in front of the statehouse (we don’t have a permit to be on the property, so we MUST remain on the sidewalk) Parking Options: Statehouse parking (it is unlikely to have spaces available) War Memorial garage - 201 S Warren St (this is your best option) Street parking is also available Carpooling: We suggest that people carpool by either forming their own carpools or joining us at the meet up location by 12:45 pm. Carpool meet up location – the Shoprite parking lot in Cherry Hill off Rte. 70 (between Shoprite and the old Joanne's). We need drivers and riders. All are welcome to join the carpool. We will be leaving promptly at 1:00pm Any questions, email [email removed]
